I never saw your face
only heard your voice through a friend
who says you are interested in me
are you like me
too shy to approach someone you really like
what a shame it seems to throw away something that could be special
for only that one reason.
Now I wonder if we will ever have the joy of meeting
of seeing if something may have happened between us
possibly a relationship that might have been
but we may never know that now
